Wouldn’t trust any other vets other than Animed. They have helped save Bruce multiple times, offering appointments within 10 minutes of calling. Will always be grateful for the service the whole team offers. If I could give more stars, I would!

When you have to put a family pet to sleep it’s hard. But the compassion shown by the vet was superb. Kept asking when I was ready gave me a frank overview which is what I wanted. Could not ask for more. As hard as it was and still is can’t thank you enough

I recently had to make the difficult decision to have my dog put to sleep at Animed Whitstable. While this was already an incredibly painful experience, the financial conduct of the practice added unnecessary distress. Despite having the appointment arranged two days in advance, I was never provided with a price for the procedure. Upon receiving the bill, I discovered that Animed charged 60% more than other local, independent veterinary practices. This lack of transparency is particularly concerning given the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation into the veterinary sector, which concluded in March 2026. The CMA has explicitly mandated that practices must be transparent about their pricing, yet Animed’s website still fails to provide clear, accessible price lists for their services. It is clear that the corporate ownership model (Animed is owned by the CVS Group) prioritises high fees over the ethical standards of transparency required by current regulations. I strongly advise other pet owners to seek out independent veterinary practices where pricing is clear and competitive. If you use a corporate-owned clinic, insist on a written estimate in advance to avoid the exploitative costs I encountered

Very understanding and helped me last minute when my guinea pigs were at the end of their life. Always helping with out crazy cocoker spaniel and Whitstable even saw her right before close on Saturday before which was soo appreciated and also great with our panther of a cat who has to walk all over the room. Lovely staff at both branches and great at fitting us in in times of need. Thank you

I recently took my cat to whitstable animed branch and the treatment and care he got was outstanding, I received updates every step of the way through my cats treatment and was given options for which medical treatments I was happy to go ahead with. The team were very knowledgeable, understanding and empathetic throughout the whole two weeks of his treatments. The team at animed made a very stressful time near on stress free. Thank you Animed Whitstable!!

What a lovely veterinary centre. I am not registered with them but am struggling to get hold of a special type of food that my cat needs so have been calling around different vets to see if any are in stock. Animed called me back (I left a voicemail) to let me know that they didn't have any in stock, but that they had found the best number for me to ring to ask for support from the manufacturer. This was really lovely of them and if I was slightly closer or if my vet ever shuts I will be bringing my cats here.

I have been going to Animed for over 20 years with various pets, dogs, cats, rabbits and Guinea pigs. Sadly our last visit was to say goodbye to our beautiful precious 16yr old dog Poppy. Whitstable branch were incredibly supportive and sensitive in dealing with me and my daughters. We stroked, cuddled and told Poppy we loved her as she slipped away. I cannot thank them enough for all the years of excellent service and kindness for my poorly pets.
