Just want to say a big thank you to Battle Flatts Vets, we lost a racing pigeon a couple of weeks ago, a member of the public brought it into the vets, the kind team looked after it over the bank holiday weekend, especially Hannah who went in especially to feed him! He is now home and doing well, thank you everyone xx

My Jack Russell was recently spayed at the Norton branch. Have to say how impressed I was with the care and skill that she received. The vet Jess was superb. Very informative and extremely thorough in her pre op checks The surgery and scar left were neat . The only problem I had was stopping Mabel from being too active immediately after she recovered from her anaesthesia. Jess should be proud of her skills and abilities.

My West Highland White Terrier who is 14 years 5 months old has been treated at Battle Flatts (Malton) all of life and the service, care and attention that both he and I have received has been exemplary.

My Mrs normally deals with them so not sure if this is a common issue but I would say the vet Sam was very nice on the phone. Having two phone calls with reception I really can't understand how they are in customer service. Extremely rude today on the phone today after I got a message to phone back in about test results. Instead of snapping she should have explained the process. On Thursday after a sample was sent for further tests I get a call out of the blue asking for payment, we had no invoice sent to us, it was a call out of the blue which could well have been fraud for all I know. I'm on a train so I'm not going to read my card details out to a possible fraud and in front of a train full of people. For a loyal client I'm surprised how this was dealt with. Vets appear ok from what I'm told and from my conversations with Sam on the phone. Admin needs a really good shake up. Don't ring demanding money without sending an invoice first, basic error in this day and age with card fraud. When someone calls for test results don't be sarcastic. Training required on the admin side.

Small car park at the practice but there is a car park next door. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. I can't comment on the veterinary care, fortunately I have not needed it yet. UPDATE Needed a vet on a Saturday, rang at 9am, got an appointment at 10.20. The practice doing Saturday surgery was a little further away (20 minute drive rather than my usual 10). Lovely, lovely staff. Diagnosed, treatment prescribed and general health check (ears, teeth, heart, chip etc) but above all they were kind.
