I took my very ill budgie to see Dr Agata Witowska because he had stopped eating. Another vet had already diagnosed the problem and given treatment, but he had become unable to eat. It was very clear that she understood budgies well, and the way she interacted with him was kind and respectful, loving and knowledgeable. He perked right up when we got into the vet, but she was able to tell immediately that this was him masking his illness. She gave us some formula food and an anti-nausea medication. I was a bit dubious about this at first, but she was spot on with her recommendation, because after giving it, he really perked up, tried to eat and began flying around - all after at least a day where all he could do was lie still in our hands. Sadly he crashed into something, hurt himself and died in the night, but it was clear that she had given him just the medication he needed. I'd definitely recommend her and would go back to see her again if we needed it.

I visited castle vets for the first time as no other vet could figure out what was going on with my guinea pigs eye. Reception is polite and accomodative as we were slightly late. The vet, Agatha, is incredible. She is very positive and knowledgable. She gave us a diagnosis the moment we walked in, whilst providing a detailed explanation to understand what we need to do. She didnt rush the consultation, altough we were late and she thoroughly checked my guinea pigs to ensure they are perfectly health. In addition she had carefully reviewed the footage i sent to the clinics inbox in advance. Thank you Agatha and to the rest of the team for putting our mind at ease for the two little ones after nearly a year.

Our golden retriever has just had a major surgery on her knee and all staff have been incredibly sweet , supportive and professional. I have been with Castle Vets for many years and every time I am amazed with their professionalism and support. I cannot thank them enough for looking after our dogs so well!
