After years as a loyal customer paying monthly for two cats on a care plan, I’m really disappointed with the recent changes. A treatment (Bravecto) that was vet-recommended and has genuinely improved my cat’s condition is now no longer included. I was asked to pay extra on collection. I’ve contacted the practice Aylesford to discuss this but haven’t received a response, which is even more frustrating. I’ve now switched to Vets for Pets in Sevenoaks, where Bravecto is still included as part of the care plan. That contrast speaks for itself. What’s more concerning is that staff at the Aylesford branch appeared to have been told this change was happening across all Vets for Pets practices, which clearly isn’t the case. Consistency across branches clearly isn’t there.

Was so impressed with the kindness and compassion shown by Jolanda the vet who had to deliver bad news and put my cat to sleep. Being treated with empathy and care is so important in a situation that stays with you and it makes a traumatic experience a little easier. Thank you jolanda… you are a credit to the company.

Just visited with our cat for her annual job. Megan was so friendly and welcoming, she showed her wealth of knowledge, which gave me reassurance and comfort my cat was being looked after. She talked through the checks she was doing and explained everything. I hope that we will see Megan on our visits in future.

Terrible service and rude customer service workers. Just hung up on me because she couldn’t take some simple details over the phone while clearly being stressed by in store requirements. Gonna find a local vet instead. Companion care plan is also a rip off.

Our cat is currently in the midst of ongoing treatment here, we are a long way from the end but after the last 2 days I already feel compelled to leave a review. Tanith, Jay and Chloe in particular have been incredibly helpful, approachable and just in general wonderful people. I also want to thank Tanith for being considerate of our financial circumstances whilst navigating the best possible course of treatment; a worry that I'm sure many people experience in these situations. Already very grateful for their help over the last couple of days, I know we're in good hands.

Took my kitten in at 11 weeks old for “his” vaccines and microchip. This included a checkup. Don’t get me wrong, the vet was lovely with “him”. But. During the checkup, didn’t seem to notice the cat was a female, not a male. Fair enough it can be hard to tell at 11 weeks old. However I’d expect as a vet for them to be able to tell. Roll on this week - it is not a boy it’s a girl. I can see the funny side of it. So called to let them know as microchip is incorrectly registered. The receptionist seemed to be more interested in peddling the cat care plan, and said there was a note on the system saying I was considering it. Not the case. So didn’t charge for microchip at the time which I had to pay for then over the phone. Then again asked whether I would have neutered “him” - in all honesty nothing to do with anyone else, so after all of that not up for a debate over the phone. Having my girl checked over properly and neutered somewhere else as now don’t trust the operation will be carried out properly. To round up - lovely vet. But opinion peddling and trying to sell the care plan and adding notes to say I’m considering it when I’m not and in addition not being able to gender the cat properly… not somewhere I’d go again.
