Ramenta the vet who looked after my little Dachshund was absolutely amazing, so caring! and managed to make a very nervous doggie suddenly very brave. Thanks also to the receptionist, Chris who helped feed my dog a load of pate as a delicious distraction. Fantastic team!! Love love love!!

I am very disappointed to discover that Crossways Veterinary group has not already reduced the price of issuing prescriptions to the cap of £21 which becomes compulsory later this year. I have just been charged £26.50 for a prescription. In their judgment, the Competitions and Marketing Authority decided that vets charging over £21 were overcharging their customers. Crossways Vets clearly feel that it is absolutely OK to continue to overcharge their customers until the last possible moment when they are forced to comply with this judgement. I wonder if they have thought about the impression this policy will have on their clients. I for one am not impressed. It’s not the amount of money overcharged for my prescription that concerns me but the attitude towards their loyal customers that it suggests, which I feel very uncomfortable with. Judge for yourself.

Wonderful vets have had no problems in ten years. Lewis the vet is so very helpful and takes time to explain things and isn’t pushy. Maxine the reception lady is always so lovely and my two boys love to see her when we visit.

Once again, calm and successful annual check up for a damaged and reactive rescue dog. So great that here we get time and opportunity to settle Rusty, and we are listened too regarding his potential issues. This results in happy dog, happy us and the vet having a full complement of fingers. Every animal is treated as an individual and given professional, quick (instant when necessary) efficient and current treatment. Having worked in animal rescue for many years, I have no hesitation is recommending this vets to my adopters. A small surgery where you get the human touch, friendly and welcoming, with the backup of its own hospital in easy reach. Brilliant place to go. X

Phoned for an appointment at 2pm and got one the same day at 5.30pm. The vet was amazing with our dog, totally reassured her and she was calm all through the visit. The vet checked her over first and then treated the cyst on her back, quickly and efficiently, explaining to me all the time what she was doing and how best to treat it. I came away feeling completely happy. Fantastic service.

I have always used Crossways for my dogs, over many years. They are professional, caring and informative. My most recent dog (rescue, badly abused previously) is very nervous, Imogen and Kirsten have been amazing with him, building up trust in the most caring and gentle way. Would whole heartedly recommend.

Such a lovely, small and local veterinary practise. I am so glad I moved my 3 dogs to crossways from a larger practise, the vets and receptionists alike are so kind and caring and you get a really personal experience. Plus they are very reasonable on pricing and always up front with costs so no surprises!
