Terrible prices for medication and external prescriptions which are critical factors for my epileptic dog. Would have cost literally three times what I paid at my previous vets: "So you will need 5 prescriptions which will be £105. This is £25 for the first and £20 each for the rest.... the medication review price is £35. " Other vets was £20 for prescription + £3 per extra item. This is just a cash grab, will be registering elsewhere.

The Staff are a polite and friendly and helpful. Straight away my dog Ghost was welcomed by the receptionist and treated very kindly. The vet came out,as we are new to the practise, and Straight away introduced herself to Ghost like a proper little person. I found the service and advice excellent.

'They genuinely care' After 6 months of appointments at a previous Vets in Cheltenham, our cat Woody (12) began suffering from skin irritation and nervous overgrooming. On top of this, he had begun to stop eating and started to ingest litter... We tried time and time again to get his blood taken, nails clipped, and urine samples from our previous Vets. Still, they were 'unable to' because he was too wriggly (non-aggressive though, he has never scratched or bitten anyone)—instead, a heavy dose of steroids for 3 months, which began affecting his behaviour and personality. With ONE visit to the vets at AAS Stroud, blood and urine were taken, a new medicine was prescribed, and nails were clipped. They also drained his bladder and did an ultrasound within a week. Following this, the incredible team called us every 48 hours to check on his condition for the last two weeks and he is on the road to recovery, with a plan in place to continue his recovery. Not only this, the team works through their lunchbreak, always takes our calls and proactively advises us on their investigations. We can't thank you enough. 10/10 service. They genuinely care.
