As always Vets 4 Pets step up and offer an excellent service. These are my registered vets for 5 animals and are in my opinion second to none in service, kindness and commitment to their animal patient and families. As with all vets it's expensive as any other, they have offered a multiple and appointment and only charged me for one consultation. They endeavour to keep necessary cost to the minimum, which shows the honesty and integrity of the Hartlepool practice. Thank you for support.

Do not register your pets here. They do not do the right tests for your pet’s problems whatsoever. Our 8 year old staffy has had ear problems for MONTHS if not longer. When we went to get it checked there through steroids and a £287 bill at us, it made it go away temporarily but it came back MUCH worse than before. We transferred our dog to Clifton Lodge and they actually took whatever fluid was coming out of my dog’s ear and showed us what it was and it turned he had a severe yeast infection in his ear.He started his treatment today and he’s already going back to his happy and energetic self, before that he was in so much pain he didn’t even greet us at the door anymore. I blame this place for this and i genuinely can’t understand how you can work with pets and treat them so poorly!

Received excellent care for our dog who unfortunately had to be put to sleep. We saw Kate, Wendy and Bianca over the last few weeks and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you for treating Millie so well right up to the very end.

Excellent, vets with very kind caring staff . Sadly our cat was very poorly but she and us were treated with care and compassion and respect, we always saw the same vet who was so lovely and kind. The reception staff were lovely too.. would highly recommend this vets

At a very bad time I was supported by both the staff and vets. My dog had a cancerous tumour removed, first rate care and aftercare-I was allowed to stay while she was sedated /came around while the stitches were removed . Very clean waiting area, a notice apologising if your appointment is late they may be dealing with a sensitive case. And a candle for any sad outcomes . Appointments whenever I needed one. Even when we were sat on the doorstep before opening time after a separate incident recently! Poor dog is currently undergoing tests which I have been kept up to date with, the cost itemised and invoiced along the way. Obviously hasn't been cheap but easy to read the bill and see each charge . Fingers crossed for a positive outcome, knowing they are on the end of the phone has been very reassuring. Def recommend this practice.
