I am very happy to bring my dog to this practice. I have complete trust in all of the vets and I know they give the best care to my dog. I feel listened to and my worries are addressed. Having a 24 hour emergency service is so important to me and I have had need to use it and been seen immediately. I would not take my dog to any other practice.

Thank you so much for the care and attention given to our baby girl Tia today, we, and she new that enough was enough when we said goodbye, she was so brave but I am sure that was helped by your care (sorry, I can't remember the name of the specific vet, as we were in bits). The vets at Lanes are so brave too, euthanasia is not an easy task, especially for lovers of animals. You came to our car and she left in our arms ... Thank you so much for your understanding, care and compassion x

Unfortunately my puppy, Fen, is addicted to wood, branches and leaves. Up till know it hasn't been a problem. But this time she appeared to have something trapped at the back of her mouth. A piece of branch had jammed across the roof of her palate between the molars and premolars and would not come out. She was in a great deal of distress. I rushed her to Lanes Vets where she was seen by a veterinary nurse who took her inside and with the help of a nurse colleague removed the offending branch within 2 minutes. Fen came out calm and relaxed. They were a credit to Lanes Vets. What a fantastic service you give. A great team of wonderful people. Thank you from Fen and me.

Poor vets which is a shame, the vets were great but of course all agency. You can tell it's a profit over care, the prices have shot up considerably. For a written perscription alone is came to £80 (£52 for the consultations and £28 for a signed piece of paper - their justification was printing and electricity costs, you do the math, glad I didn't ask for a receipt) . I have now joined a new vet in Barton, the pooch was well looked after, it was cheaper and much more personable, didn't feel like a cash grab which unfortunately lanes vets is. My opinion, but I think it's worth the 10 minute drive to leave lanes vets. God knows what they're charging poor people now who just want the best for their pets
