Was worried about some negative reviews but recently had a great experience taking our newly adopted (quite difficult to handle!) cat here for the first time. Super friendly and helpful staff and we were incredibly impressed with how the vet handled our cat and the treatment received- overall couldn't have gone smoother and very happy with the level of care and cost.

Recently had to put our 16 year old cat to sleep, the help and compassion shown by the staff from lending us a cat carrier as our cat was usually so healthy we didn't have one to the explanation of issues the cat had were informative and compassionate. The after offer of fur clippings and paw prints to be with the ashes was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this branch 👍🏻

Really losing confidence in this practice. Again bad administration, when receptions checked dogs previous fleas treatment , was surprised when she said Last medication is 2023 which is shocking because Oliver had flea treatment during the heat waves this summer Seems to be an issue with the administration when I’m registered last year they never updated the record from the previous vet, So today was concerning that this is still an issue. I am not sure if it’s because of laziness or lack of experience. Or just incompetence. Was given incorrect treatment yesterday and it happened again today. Twice! My time wasted, frustrating and poor customer service. The flea treatment prescribed was tablets form, my dog had IBD do prefer to not risk a reaction. Next day a different spot on 1 pipet 3 months)48 £ was expensive and again had concerns of reaction, then told last time Oliver had treatment was in 2023 , when i had meds recently. I am losing confidence and seems to be lack of record keeping. Dillon and dog Oliver, (New complaint !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Incredible Again received a text to pick up medication for Oliver and arthritis, usual medication no change. Monthly gabapentin(arthritis meds for dogs and humans apparently. As didn’t have in stock only gave me 7, put on order for remaining months supply. Given wrong dosage Said on bottle was 100 mg Took home realised as usual capsule, split into twice a day. But realised tiny tablets ( impossible to divide in to two . When i call reception, who spoke to vet. Sit was informed that i was given wrong medication ( suprise surprise, not in a cilla black way. I explained that you give me 30 tablets twice a day at 25 mg ( incorrectly labelled/dangerous Or you give me 30 capsules easy to split at correct dosage. So you charge me the same for lowe diasage. Honestly I have raised another complaint. Don’t waste my time and money, with my beloved dog. You need to sort this out.

I had the worst experience at Medivet Kentish Town and I feel strongly that other pet owners should be aware. The service was completely unprofessional. There was a clear lack of care and concern for my pets, especially when I was genuinely worried about their health. Instead of feeling supported, I felt dismissed and disregarded. What upset me most was how the staff appeared to cover for one another rather than address the poor service. No one took accountability, and no one stood up for basic customer care. My concerns about my pet’s condition were not taken seriously, they were more concerned about a missed appointment due to illness, and they dismissed my feelings and instead were rude that is unacceptable in a veterinary setting where trust and compassion are essential. As a pet owner, you expect empathy, transparency, and professionalism. Sadly, I experienced none of that here. Because of this, I have moved all my pets elsewhere. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who wants their pets treated with genuine care and respect.

I was told by this practice that my cat urgently needed to go to the emergency room due to a blocked bladder. They said I’d receive a quote for the procedure after he was already in the operating room, and didn’t even offer a rough estimate beforehand despite this being a very common condition in male cats. With their supposed experience and “structured pricing,” they could have easily provided a ballpark figure. When they finally came back, the quote was nearly £3,000, absolutely unbelievable. To make matters worse, my cat experienced the same issue just a week later, which makes me seriously doubt they resolved the problem properly the first time. The second procedure, done elsewhere, cost me less than one-sixth of what Medivet quoted. Thanks, Medivet!
