I had a very disappointing start with my health plan in July 2025. The initial vet seemed uncomfortable and even fearful of my dog (who is very well-behaved), requiring both my husband and me to hold him down for a simple injection. I felt a total lack of professionalism and guidance regarding neutering advice at that time. However, our recent half-year check with Dr. Marie was a completely different experience. She was calm, professional, and handled my dog with the confidence I expect from a vet. Her expertise gave me the confidence to finally book my dog’s neutering here. I highly recommend requesting Dr. Marie if you want a vet who truly knows how to handle dogs.

I never post reviews, just not my thing but I wanted to share how amazing and kind and professional Marie the vet was at this location. My cat is hard to handle and we usually leave vet appointments (at more than one vet clinic) stressed and upset. Marie was experienced, gave my cat a chance to calm down, and got on with the vaccination and even managed a physical exam! It was the cat’s first since she was a kitten (no other vet dared to touch her). I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you.

I recently visited Medivet West Bridgford and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, the veterinarian asked if I had an appointment and, after checking the computer, saw my cat’s name. She asked me to take my cat out of the carrier, and while examining him she said he was a female. I explained that he is a male and had been neutered. She only checked his weight and then told me to put him back in the carrier. I also asked whether they offered a monthly plan, as a friend had mentioned it to me, and she simply told me to look for a leaflet at the reception desk. As I was leaving, she suddenly called out that I needed to pay around £90. I told her that the first appointment was meant to be free, and she responded, “Oh, yes,” without any apology or explanation. Overall, I am very disappointed with the way we were treated and, based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic. ---

I took my dog to them with xylitol poisoning, and I can’t express how grateful I am. Dr. Marie saw us immediately and started treatment straight away. I had to leave my dog with them for several hours until 7pm. After that, Dr. Marie contacted Medivet Alfreton (the 24-hour clinic), and I drove my dog there, where she stayed for two nights. Dr. Marie stayed in touch with me the entire time, providing updates. Thanks to all their help, my dog is now doing great. I’m truly so grateful for everything they did.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received during my recent appointment. I saw dr Nimra. I had specifically booked a full kitten health check; however, what occurred fell drastically short of any reasonable expectation of a veterinary consultation. There was no health check whatsoever and no information gathering regarding his history. The appointment lasted no more than five minutes in total. The vet spent approximately ten seconds visually inspecting my kitten’s ear, offered no meaningful examination of any other aspect of his health, and did not address the concerns I attempted to raise. Her manner was dismissive, and the interaction felt rushed and uninterested. Of the brief time she was in the room, roughly half of it was spent fetching medication rather than carrying out the health check I had paid for. I entered the consultation at 4:35pm and was out by 4:40pm-an appointment that provided virtually no value and left me with serious concerns about the quality of care my kitten received. I left feeling that my concerns were ignored and that the examination was not performed properly or thoroughly. This experience was entirely unacceptable and falls well below the standards expected of a veterinary practice. I cannot express enough how disappointing and unprofessional this visit was.

My little miniature dachshunds are always treated with the up most care. My little baby whitbys had a poorly digestive tract. He’s been seen in hours has an urgent visit from speaking to the amazing nurses/reception team. The vets have been professional - supportive - gave him an anti sickness vaccine and he’s much better today, Thank you Kyle Charles.
