I cannot praise Park vets more. We have been with Park for 30+ years! So has all my family. Between me and my family they have probably treated 60 of our pets. The reason for the review is because we thought we was going to loose my little girl recently, she was treated initially in Penarth then transfered to Cardiff and stayed for intense hospitalisation. The care she received was 2nd to non! She has since made a full recovery and we hope to have many more years. Thank you all. We are forever indebted to you all 🙏🙏🙏 the most fantastic vets nurses and support staff

Please avoid at all costs if you have an elderly pet. Our elderly dog had to have a big operation to remove her eye. Aware of the risks, but not aware we should have had pre-operative bloods done beforehand. Having these done would have reduced our dog’s suffering and she could have been put to sleep peacefully or been treated for what we now know was kidney failure. Not had to go through major surgery to then die in pain as a result of their recommendations. Thankfully, we took her to an out of hours (different) vet who provided the proper advice so we could help her in the end (they were utterly appalled at park vets service). Please please avoid if you value your pets life. Also they don’t deal with complaints well at all, they simply lie and say they did offer this advice and it was declined (which it was not). We are in the process of taking this further as don’t want other animals to suffer at their hands/lack of advice.

When I recently visited for a health check up for my dog Barney, one of the nurses Lois was so patient, knowledgeable and thorough, my dog now loves to visit the Penarth branch

Truly caring and knowledgable staff who take the time to carry out a thorough examination to ensure accurate diagnosis. I would like to give a special thank you to Dani for diagnosing my best friend Layla with an infection of the uterus that needed immediate surgery a few weeks ago, she would not be with us today if she hadn’t picked up on the issue. I am more than grateful to both Dani and the amazing team who carried out the operation and provided excellent aftercare, I give you my heartfelt thanks, you were all wonderful xx

I always love our trips to Park Vets. Our dog loves them too: when I try to walk past on an errand he pulls me in to see the lovely receptionists. We always get great care, and Amanda and Anne make the dog feel very loved!

We have a very difficult cat and between the vet and us we sorted out a plan for vaccination which worked really well. So grateful!
