  I’ve had a frustrating experience with this practice. Communication has been very poor—there appears to be only one staff member who can handle insurance queries, and they are often unavailable. I had to wait over a week just to speak to someone who could help, which made an already stressful situation much worse. I also experienced long delays in receiving my dog’s test results and had to chase the practice myself, rather than being contacted. On top of that, I was concerned about cleanliness. There was visible blood on the floor of the reception area, and I had to carry my dog to avoid them walking through it. This felt very unhygienic and unprofessional. Overall, I expected a much higher standard of care and communication.

  I can’t express my thanks enough to our vet Ali and his team of nurses and receptionists. He has been looking after our dogs for approx three years now and I have never had such a kind, caring empathetic and skilled vet. In my experience he truly is the best and we will never go to anyone else. Unfortunately last year we had to have our two elderly dogs put to sleep. Both during the treatment beforehand and the actual process we were shown the ultimate kindness and consideration. All of the staff at both the Soham and Ely branches are amazing, I really feel like they treat our dogs as though they were their own, and that is so comforting. My little dog has just had to have an operation to have large fatty Lypomas removed, I can only say everything has been communicated in such an easy to understand way and I can’t express how much it means to us to have the support of all the staff at Pet Doctors Thanks again Ali for everything you have done for us and our furbabies Simon Michele & Dino Gooch.

  I can’t recommend this practice highly enough. The whole team are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They make every visit feel calm and stress-free, which means a lot when you’re worried about your pet. They’re also efficient and well organised, so you’re never left waiting or unsure about what’s going on. Everything is explained clearly, and you always feel like your pet is in safe hands. A special thank you to Sam, who is absolutely wonderful — kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about what she does. It really makes a difference❤️

  Cefa is 20 and 7 months old. She is part of my Family. She was very poorly and we thought this is it, she will need to be pts. But the love and care Cefa received from Pet Doctors in Soham was fantastic. Cefa as pulled through and is doing really well. Hopefully she will make 21 in February.

  Since moving to Soham 17 years ago, we have used this Vet’s for helping our dogs from general check ups to the final heartbreaking days. I can say that from day one the whole team, from the receptionists, nurses and the vets ( including past and present ) have been so lovely. They’ve shown care and compassion in every situation I’ve faced with my beloved dogs. Today my frenchie Lola was spayed by Bea who is incredibly caring, warm and professional. She was looked after by Chloe and Emily throughout her op and I want to mention my thanks and gratitude to them for taking such great care of her 💞. You are all amazing and I’ll never use any other vets because of your kindness. Thank you for all that you do. Love the Mills family x

  In a week I have used both the Burwell and Ely branches for my dog Ruby Tuesday, although I’m usually a Soham resident. I chose to have her put to sleep today. the Vet Bea was amazing and totally understood and gave her the best care ever. Much care, compassion and love for her and total support for us as a family. We have kept dogs for 36 years and it never gets easier. First of all you have to make peace with yourself that you have made the right decision. Many thanks to Ria and Rowena for your years of support and love you have giving to all our dogs.xxxx
