Seen the same vet the last few times. What a lovely bloke. Put our dog at ease before her injections and she is a very nervous dog. Can't fault at all. Send appt reminders via email and texts. Always ontime.

I have been taking my pooches to vfp for a few years and love the relatively new site building. Bright and airy with plenty of seating and space while you wait. Staff are lovely and so helpful. The vet we have is lovely, down to earth and has a good sense of humour, which helps as sometimes I get more nervous than the dogs. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Also if you want to do a bit shopping, it’s on a retail park. I always stock up at the M & S. Highly recommended

The visit was very emotional for me as I had to say goodbye to me beloved cat Felix. He was a rescue cat, I had him for few years now. It's always hard to say goodbye but the team there was brilliant. Helping me to say goodbye to my Felix.

I cannot praise Vets for Pets Durham enough! We have been coming here for over 20 years and have always received excellent care. Kevin and Aitor are both super, and Richard is simply amazing. As owners of two dogs and three cats, our pets' welfare is our top priority. We have always felt that the team respects this without ever taking advantage of us. They do exactly what is necessary and frequently go the extra mile emotionally, without pushing unnecessary treatments or consultations. Their charges are very, very reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for honest, compassionate care

I dropped off a dog I found today in Durham City Centre, after calling around other places to help I decided to just put him in my car and drive to the nearest vets hoping someone could help as we were right near the main road and he was a big dog, he had no collar or leader and we had been told by other places it was being treated as an emergency and they’d be with us in 10 minutes but no one came to help us. Even though I was really panicked, the receptionist at Vets for Pets was so helpful and lovely, she came with me to get him from my car and was really good and gentle with him knowing he was scared and was struggling to get out of my car. I called later in the day to check on him and again was just reassured the whole time by staff who were so caring and helpful. I really can’t thank the receptionist enough for helping, after such a traumatic event seeing him running around the main road and no one willing to help, I am so thankful for how kind and understanding you were.

Great vets, very helpful, so caring. Richard always makes the time for any worries I might have. George even likes him - which is surprising since he doesn't seem to like the vets. 🤣🤭. Thanks for taking care of George.
