Took my golden retriever Baxter for his annual checkup and booster and as usual it was a great experience for both Baxter and me! The staff have a lovely way about them and treat the animals with patience and kindness. They are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you might have. I cannot recommend Victoria Veterinary Practice highly enough.

The staff are always friendly and treat your pet as if they were their own. They are understanding and listening to your worries, give great advice when asked about things. They are also patient with Rex and Rolo who don't like going to the vets 🤣🤣

I am extremely saddened to write this review. Yesterday my cat was in serious distress while giving birth and clearly needed urgent veterinary help. I called this practice asking if they could see her, but I was told they were closing in five minutes and could not take her. Unfortunately I could not afford the £250 taxi it would have cost just to reach another emergency vet further away. Because of this, my cat had to stay at home while suffering from severe complications and sadly died shortly afterwards. Watching her struggle and not being able to get veterinary help was absolutely heartbreaking. I understand clinics have opening hours, but when an animal is clearly in a life-threatening situation, I believe there should be some form of emergency support or guidance. I hope sharing this experience encourages the practice to reconsider how urgent situations are handled, so other pet owners do not have to go through the same devastating experience. 😭😭🥹🥹😥😡😡😡🖤🖤🖤💔

We have been with Victoria Vets for approx 7 years. The vets themselves are brilliant, but the reception staff are rude and unhelpful. About 2 years ago, my bank account was hacked and blocked so my direct debit failed. As they now give 3 monthly flea & worming tablets, the 2 months we had already paid for, they wouldn’t give us the flea and worming tablets until the third payment was made. We offered to pay cash but was told this could not be done. I said my pet is at risk of catching fleas as you don’t give them out monthly anymore but nope! They wouldn’t give us the 2 months we had already paid for. The monthly payments kept creeping up so we cancelled our Pet Plan cover late October last year. We had a letter in December asking us to go back at a refunded price, which I completed online. I was told something went wrong so I was ringing back and forth trying to sort it out. I spoke to a nice guy at Pet Plan he said “it’s all sorted, the plan is renewed, I will e mailed Victoria Vets now and your flea and worming tablets will be available for collection straight away”.. Last week, I spoke to a woman on reception, she was not very helpful and she kept talking over me, she said the plan was not up amd running and she basically said the guy from The Oet Health Club hadn’t done his job ( even though I had e mailed confirmation off him) but she said she would ring me back on Monday once she had spoken to her manager. I received no phone call, so once again, I had to ring back and was once again told she had to speak to her manager and I would have a call the next day. Fed up of the way we were being treated, after 7 years of being a loyal customer, I e mailed Victoria Vets to cancel as I signed my pet up with a different Vet, only to be told “As the plan was cancelled before the renewal, there is a cancellation fee of £60” Needless to say I will not be paying this cancellation fee as she told me the guy at Pet Health hasn’t even renewed it!!

Honestly couldn’t ask for a better vets, they are so kind and caring and understanding. They helped me when my pup hurt her back playing and even helped me understand her diagnosis of IVDD. Every single time we go back up now for her checkups she willingly walks into the vets to say hello to everyone there. They were so understanding and listened to my concerns with her and explained everything I will continue to take my dogs there. Thank you all to the veterans and the receptionists there

We have been with Victoria for over 10years and it has been over all a great experience. The girls on the front desk more often then not have been the most friendly, empathetic, insightful and helpful then the vets them selves. The dogs are actually happy to come here to see the staff. Generally very friendly and helpful. Occasionally we have had some small ish issues, missed communications but apart from checkups and general health care we did have some serious visits from injuries, and our one dog developing epilepsy, the vest have kept us safe and happy with their service. They do make an effort and have provided our fury family with excellent care.

My Kiko's first visit today and every staff member were extremely kind and lovely giving her all the fuss she could take and more! Everything explained in detail with additional information printed about my puppy's issue. Very glad we chose Victoria Vets and Kiko got a few treats so she's also very happy.
