Kresh the vet was completely thorough in his examination of my dog today which I was really pleased about. He listened to our concerns well and reacted to them. We left the vets feeling happy with the diagnosis and treatment. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you

We saw a nurse called Jenny today and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She was extremely easy to speak to and gave us some brilliant advice. Would definitely recommend Jenny and Woodcroft to anyone that owns a pet. Always a great service and always reliable!

Our pugs saw Jenny the veterinary nurse today. Jenny’s attitude and management in effectively clipping their dew claws was amazing. Her general behaviour towards all three pugs was fantastic & she has truly won them all over! This wasn’t our first visit to Jenny, her caring and consistent approach is amazing. She’s a true ambassador for Woodcroft Vets

I have been in to see Emma twice so far with my cat Heath and it has been absolutely FANTASTIC 👌. I had to move from Pets for Vets Handforth Dean after they left my cat in a bad way with a wound. Anyway, Woodcroft has sent me to various branches, which hasn't been a problem because they are all in the Stockport area. Heath had to have a procedure whilst sedated and then needed a check-up on Easter weekend, so we were sent to Cheadle as they had an appointment. There we met Emma; she was absolutely brilliant. She really listened and understood everything that he had been through, as it's been a long journey with some unfortunate difficulties. Emma was very kind and showed him a lot of compassion and took her time with him. She really comes across as a genuine animal lover and took her time talking with me as I was having to nurse him at home with some of the daily care he needed, which has been the case for 4 weeks now. We have seen Emma a second time for another check-up, and we have discussed his progression, and again she really listens and takes everything on board. It comes across she not only feels for the animal but also the owner, which is really nice because I didn't ever get that at the previous vets. Emma was helping me with practical solutions to dealing with his daily care needs and understood the difficulty. She spent extra time with us, and the amount she cares shines through. She is an extraordinary veterinary nurse, and I would take any animals to her and highly recommend her to anyone. She is open, honest, and most important of all, caring.

I thoroughly recommend Cassie as she was fantastic with my dog. I was not looking forward to going because although the reception staff have been 100% lovely with her, I was feeling upset that we’ve had some negative experiences and there has been no build up of a relationship between the veterinarian staff and her. I’ve also found the hospital staff wonderful too. One more thing, pleased the monthly charge now includes kennel cough as well as the yearly vaccine.

Our dog Gizmo had to be sedated to be groomed. He had never had this done before. Fran at Woodcroft Vets talked me through the process and she was wonderful with him, putting him at ease immediately. Later we picked him up and what a fantastic job Fran did! She fully explained how the groom went and made sure Gizmo was happy. I cannot recommend Woodcroft Vets, Cheadle highly enough.

We had to take our dog here in an emergency and he sadly had to be put down. The situation was horrible, but the service and care we received from Woodcroft Vets was impeccable. We called ahead and the receptionist was calm and gave us clear instructions. When we arrived there was a whole team waiting for us and they rushed us straight in to the emergency room. My wife and I were then shown into an empty treatment room so we could have privacy. Once the initial assessment had been done the vet came through and spoke to us really clearly and compassionately about the situation, and gave us all of the options available, but also was realistic and completely honest with us. We were kept fully informed throughout, and were given the time and space we needed to make the really hard decision to put our dog down. When this was decided they gave us time with him to say goodbye (he was intubated and under general anaesthetic at this point) and then allowed us to stay while he was put down and offered us further time to spend with him afterwards. They then took paw prints for us so that we had something to take home, and put them in a sympathy card with a hand written message. We couldn’t have asked for more from all the staff during this incredibly stressful and sad experience. Thank you

Always a pleasure. We have a shar pei who can at times be a challenge, however they are always really good with him. On our latest visit the vet we saw made our dog at easy by offering him treats and making a fuss of him before trying to examine him. I feel this really helped and therefore made the appointment totally stress free for all. He was very responsive to his needs and we came away feeling relieved and the pain medication our dog needed. He has totally settled since and a lot more comfortable. Thank you 😊

Millie went to be spayed on Tuesday, everyone at woodcroft Cheadle were kind informative and caring. Everything was explained before and a phone call from the practice let me know Millie was ok and what time to pick her up. At 3.30 picked my princess up and she came out in a pink jumpsuit/ already agreed to purchase before surgery. She seemed none the worse and all aftercare was explained. Thank you for looking after my precious girl and all be so caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your practice.
