Impressed and relieved that we’ve found a vets that so far ticks all the boxes. My dog was the most relaxed he’s been in a long time when visiting a vets. Calm and spacious areas. Good parking area and quiet. Free consultations which is brilliant. Vet was careful but confident with my pet which put him at ease straight away. Offered a longer appt in order to go through and explain several concerns and options. Didn’t feel rushed at all.

All the staff are always helpful, kind and reassuring. I feel my two 'furbies' are in the very best hands and that they are the priority. The vets always give them the best and most appropriate treatment. I have recommended Animal Trust at Dewsbury to everyone I know because, I have listened to other people talking about their vetinarian practices, and they can't compete, on any level, with Animal Trust. I have taken out the Paws Assist for one of my dogs and it is excellent. Animal Trust's pricing is very competitive and very reasonable. I believe that the staff genuinely try and provide the best treatment at the most reasonable price and that they all have an ethical code in line with the Animal Trust mission statement. I definitely recommend Animal Trust Dewsbury

Staff are always helpful, professional and friendly. The vet listens to your concerns and give excellent advice….starting with the cheapest option rather than trying to take money from you. Always been happy with the service from routine boosters to operations. My dog is always calm and quiet when being examined and seems settled in the environment.

The receptionist was pleasant and smiling .Jade, the vet we saw was very good and caring with Jasper . Jade explained the treatment required and the costs and was very pleasant to deal with. Jasper doesn't mind going to the vets though I'm not sure he like his temperature taking. 19 February 2026

I have used animal trust for veterinary care for my dog Milo since 2019 and then for my dog Lucy since 2024. I have found them very caring and helpful with any problems. Animal trust doesnt charge for the appointment its only if your pet needs treatment or medication which I think is good as sometimes its just peace of mind that your pet is okay and they may not need treatment. Being able to make an appointment online is an advantage and there is always someone at the end of the telephone if needed. The staff are always friendly and helpful, I can see how much they care about my pets.

I had the most unforgettable experience at Animal Trust Dewsbury today! My cat, Coco, managed to escape from his carrier and ran up onto the roof — it was an absolute adventure! The manager and staff were incredible — calm, patient, and so compassionate. They went above and beyond to help us get Coco down safely. I’m genuinely grateful for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you to the entire team for turning such a stressful moment into one filled with care and teamwork! 🐾❤️

Over a year ago I joined Animal trust initally the care was amazing. £500 later I was told my cat has gum disease and due to his age there is no treatment he will now require regular analgesia- each time he has a flare up to call and pick up analgesia- I rang Animal Trust Dewsbury a few weeks ago requesting analgesia because my cats in absolute agony but for some reason I cant get past reception. Even though its clearly documented on his notes- Absolute joke how long does it take for the VET to prescribe repeat analgesia. Poor cats in pain.
