Our practice offers a wide range of services for a variety of species, including aquatics, birds, camelids, cats, cattle, dogs, equines, exotic animals, wildlife, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats, and small mammals. We understand how important your pets are to you and how unique they can be, which is why we are proud to cater to many different animal families.

At Ark Veterinary Surgery, we strive to make your visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible for both you and your pets. Our practice is equipped with modern facilities to provide the best treatment options and superior care, such as open weekends, ample client car parking, and disabled public access.

We are open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a late close on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., so you can bring your pets after work. For your weekend vet appointment needs, we are open on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please note that we are closed on Saturdays.

Our esteemed staff at Ark Veterinary Surgery is comprised of skilled professionals with several years of experience in the veterinary field. Mr David Walker, BVetMed MRCVS, our Principal, is joined by the impressive Dr Bethany Whitby, BVSc BSc MRCVS, and Dr Jenny Woolley, BVM&S MRCVS. Under their expertise, the veterinary department ensures comprehensive medical treatment and care for your animals.

On the other hand, our loving team of veterinary nurses includes Mrs Ruth Dean, RVN; Mrs Victoria Jack, RVN; Mrs Rebecca McWhirk, RVN; and Mrs Nicola Tinker, RVN. They provide high-quality nursing care and assist in the overall well-being and recovery of your pets.
