I have been bringing my puppy here for the last 8 months and everyone is amazing, from reception to the vets themselves, I came for a check up yesterday and the nurse I seen was amazing, she was so calm and gentle, patient and listened to everything I said was listened too and responded to in a way I would understand. Marvin even let her cut his nails as she was so calming. A real credit and not just a transaction

Excellent staff on reception as usual and on this occasion saw Sam (Vet) who was very friendly and helpful with some very useful advice. Gave Ben a very thorough examination. These are lovely people and this is my second rescue Labrador in their care. Ben is very happy here and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and we are very grateful. Fantastic vets. Been before with cats I've in the past and always been great. Went in with my new 10 week old kitten and he got lots of love and fuss which he loves. The young girl working in the reception was great and informed me that I could get pet plan and use it right away which saved me a lot of money. Everyone was so friendly and informative

Unfortunately I was charged £65 for a 2 minute consultation to tell me my pet was actively dying. While I understand these fees do need to exist, they are just simply not at all competitive with other vets in the area, important to note they also do not offer any kind of assistance or grace period to pay for those on income support! If you are lucky enough to have the option, which I didn't, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this vet, and encourage readers to take their pet to an independent vet where possible. These greedy corporate practices which have bought up over 60% of Britains veterinary services are preying on pet owners across the nation. They emptied the last of my bank account and sent me away with my dying best friend, but not before offering me a 300-odd pound (£) cremation service to take his ashes home. If your pet passes, go to Cherry Tree crematorium instead and they'll treat you with respect. Hope barrow hill do better in future.

We sadly had to say goodbye to our beautiful frenchie Arthur 9th Jan at Barrow Hill, Ashford. The vet who we saw arthur at the end was fantastic. She was loving, kind and just the person we needed at the end, just the person Arthur needed. Also the receptionists were so lovely including Denise at New Romney Barrow Hill Vets. Denise you were my saviour on the phone, thank you. Thank you x

We have been with Barrow Hill for 14 years and have always been very happy with the Service and the Vets. Today we took our dog for his annual check up and boosters. Jacob was the vet who attended to Rocky and its the first time we have had him, he was really good with Rocky and explained everything he was doing and was extremely thorough. So we felt compelled to leave this review and thank him.

We had a really good experience with Barrow Hill at Ashford during two recetn visits. The receptionist we spoke with was very friendly and supportive. Lucia, the vet, was exceptional. She listened, gave treatment options and prices and at no point did we feel pressured to go with more expensive options at that point. She was very lovely with our dog and we felt we could really trust her. A great experience.
