The vet I see with my dog yesterday was inadequate. Medivet is normally a very good practice. A simple cyst drain was only half done. This is a procedure that is done quite regularly, but also charged double the price. Not happy.

I’ve been very happy with the care provided and have no complaints about the treatment itself. However, I am concerned about the pricing. The consultation fee is £52, plus £12 for a wormer, which feels quite high. I’ve since found several other local, independent farm vets offering consultations for £25 and wormer for £11. That’s a significant difference for the same routine service. While I appreciate the care given, the pricing seems more in line with a large corporate practice, and unfortunately it’s taking advantage of the local community. I will be using a more affordable local vet going forward. I would suggest reviewing your pricing structure, as there are more competitively priced options available nearby. Advice- Shop around you might be very surprised.

Outstanding service this evening. The vets were able to see my cat within extremely short notice and provided treatments and advice which put my mind at ease. I thought the cost of the appointment and medicines was very good and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Friendly and welcoming staff. My cat has received excellent treatment. I have had his condition and treatment options very clearly explained by both the vets and nurse. Could not be more satisfied and would highly recommend this clinic.

I called at 545pm to speak to the vet and get advice to be told there was no vet onsite and to wait until 7pm to speak to the emergency vets. (£302 just for a consultation) The next day I called to speak to the practice manager to ask why I couldn’t speak to a vet if they was open until 7pm, for them to tell me there was a vet onsite that day until 630pm. I do not trust this practice and feel lied to by them. If the surgery is open until 7pm I do expect to be able to speak to someone if I call at 545pm.

Loveliest vetinary practice around. Staff are all amazing. The surgery is clean and pet friendly. I would recommend this practice to everyone. Truly outstanding in every way possible.
