A friendly veterinary practice that offers 24/7 pet services and a very competent veterinary practice. However, we have 4 pets with pet car plans. At 6 monthly check stage it's like we had to ask the vet to check each and every step. Can you check this, can you also check that. Surely you know what the cat 6 monthly checks consist of weigh, mouth/teeth check, all round health check, check eyes, check for worms, clip claws etc. Likewise, with rabbits, why aren't rabbits being fly rear guarded by vets as part of the health check and nail clipping seems to only be done if customer asks for it to be done. Again as experienced veterinary practice why aren't they being proactive and coming forth with providing it as a matter of service rather than if customer requests it?? As said before friendly practice that offers a lot at the facility just seems very lazy service. Our old veterinary service in Surrey automatically did these checks and the vet handed us fly rear guard directly and told us the best way to apply it. Likewise, our cats got given a tablet by the vet as part of the service. Nine Mile ride gave us a pack without explanation of how to dose it and the instructions on the sticky label hadn't printed off due to printer low ink. It turns out after our cat getting tape worm (comfirmed by our friend whos a vet) we learned that the vets had no current, recent weight on record (even after taking him for the health check). Also, why does this practice not tell their customers once they have received meds like flea or worming treatments? - just takes a text message. We would like to give this practice a higher review score, it just seems the service is a bit slap dash and lazy. However, they did rectify the tape worm issue by getting us in quickly to administer worming tablets to both our cats. However, yet again didn't provide any information as to how long that will last for - another example of lazy service!

We couldn’t be more impressed. We only moved to Nine Mile vets a couple of years ago after moving nearby and we wish we had moved across sooner. We sadly lost our eldest pup a year ago and just lost our younger almost exactly a year on. Both times, we were able to have open, honest conversations about decisions to be made, have empathy shown and be there with them in a calm, friendly setting when we had to say goodbye. No pressure has ever been placed to make payments in these difficult times, all options were presented clearly and our opinions and thoughts were taken into mind. We are now a dog less home which is devastating but if we do get any fur babies again in the future, we will be coming straight back!

They are skilled, professional and supportive. They even provide a pet taxi service. They accommodated my rabbit for several days (6!) so that she didn't have to go back and forth to my fleet practice. This meant taking up a 'bed' when they might have had even more of an emergency. They are ethical and the priority is the patient not the payment. They try to keep costs down by not keeping the pet longer than they have to. Thanks to the vet Vito for his understanding and expertise, nurses claire and Alice for syringe feeding daisy. It gives me peace of mind when they can take the burden off me. It is expensive but competitive and of course private healthcare. Much appreciated. Lucy and daisy 2020 They have been very good with my rabbit Rosie and her gut stasis. Very supportive and make me feel reassured. The vet’s were: Rosie, Charlotte, Michael and George. Becky, who I knew from ark in fleet is really helpful and patient. Thank you everyone. x
