This is mine and my partners first dog and we were recommended this vet by a family member. They have been brilliant, always being extremely thorough with our dogs check ups, vaccines and any concerns. They have always been kind and taken the time to make sure our dog is settled and calm, showing her lots of love and attention to ensure she has a good association with them. They take the time to explain everything and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had the most helpful caring and compassionate consultation for my long suffering French bulldog with persistent skin issues that haven’t been manageable or rectified by the previous vet practice. I came here for a second opinion as I wasn’t happy with my previous vets. I am moving my other dogs here too! Exceptional care, time and consideration by vet (Peter). Tests completed and plan moving forward. I felt better supported to manage my dogs life long needs health needs I left to have a good cry of relief that there may be affordable supportive options for my dogs ongoing care. Thank you so much!

I took my guinea pig Elvis to Swadlincote Veterinary Care and had a really lovely experience. The staff were very kind, gentle, and clearly care a lot about the animals they treat. They handled Elvis so carefully and made sure he was comfortable. Everyone was friendly and the service was great. I really appreciated how welcoming they were. Thank you for taking such good care of Elvis – I would definitely recommend this practice!

From the moment we walked in we felt these were really caring people. Took time to make our cat feel comfortable and explained everything to us before doing anything. Lovely practice, would thoroughly recommend

We've been using this surgery for many years now and the service just keeps going from strength to strength. Our cockapoo Oliver was obviously in discomfort all through the night. Got him straight in to see the vet. We haven't met her before but like all the other vets there she was very thorough and talked us through all the checks she did. It was thought that may be it was Oliver's teeth/gums. Fortunately due to a cancellation he was in the same day. Bloods taken first. A call to me to say they look ok and then they proceeded with 6 extractions. All the staff treated us and Oliver so well. Edit: just taken in Oliver's urine sample. 15 minutes later I received a call with the results. You can't get better service than that. And so nice to see happy faces despite being so early. It's a pleasure to visit.

We had to have our senior dog Oscar put to sleep last week and everyone there made the process a lot easier, all the staff were helpful, friendly, genuine and felt like they truly cared. We received a ‘thinking of you’ card which was very thoughtful. Would highly recommend this veterinary practice. With every appointment we’ve previously had with Oscar we have found it a very friendly, helpful practice. Thank you for making his last moments comfortable and supplying us with his paw prints and fur 💙🐶
