The biggest thank you to Vets for Pets Chelmsford for looking after my boy (& me) today & giving my boy his beautiful smile back! Your amazing team completely understands Ponch's complex needs & you really give us so much support & comfort, to make Ponchy's life as easy as possible, & I am forever grateful! We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful team of people to not only care for Ponchy's medical needs but to always think of what's best for him mentally & emotionally too & it's so reassuring that, as a protective dog mum, to always know that he's put first! A special thank you to Zizia, Megan & Rebecca for taking such great care of Ponch today & showing him such kindness! ❤️🐾❤️

Massive THANKS to staff who helped catch Neville(cat) who managed to escape & made a dash into car park. He is home & purring... I am suffering P.T.S.D & drinking brandy! Staff were amazing.

Our cat needed to have teeth out and investigation into weight loss. The staff and vets here are absolutely exceptional and very caring with our cat. They also managed our insurance claim and when the insurers initially rejected the claim, they challenged it for us and got some of the fees paid. Highly recommend this place

So Vets4Pets aren't our normal vets but late Saturday afternoon our cat wandered in with a tick on her back. Our vets were shut. After phoning around and most vets being completely unhelpful and not willing to see her Vets4Pets said they'd see her straight away. We went straight down there, seen within minutes but absolutely wonderful and friendly staff. Wish I'd got their names. Visit date was today 19/10/2024 around 5pm. I can not thank you enough. So wonderfully helpful and FANTASTIC service. Perfect!

I have been visiting for over 8 years now with my retired greyhound King. Having lived in Chelmsford and are now based on Canvey Island I still visit V4P as my primary vet. I was fortunate back in 2015 to sign on for their "Vac4Life" programme and have thus saved a packet over the 8 years I've had him on his injections. However, having adopted an Irish ex-racing dog I have certainly made up for those savings in other aliments & maladies draining my income. The front of house staff, the nurses and the vets have always been a pleasure to deal with and always treated King with utmost respect and care. This was particularly apparent recently when he had to have a toe amputated at the grand age of 14 years 3 months wherein he required multiple visits and become a celebrity. The treatment plan was discussed at length trying various avenues before resorting to general anesthetic. He pulled through and has gone on to make a tremendous recovery. They gave me friend back and for that I am enormously grateful.

100% RECOMMENDED...From the reception through to vets, polite cheerful, empathic when needed. Special thank you to Becky but to all the people involved with treating Ollie. He is an older boy now with athrities and is treated with great kindness. He is having treatment at present for an infection in his pad from a grass seed , this involved a raid on the consultation treats jar.

I took my Dalmatian 'Jasper' to this veterinary clinic for his whole life. They operated on him twice in 12 years, saving his life with great care. They have always been able to fit him in for a visit at short notice and finally helped him traverse the Big rainbow bridge to a pain free world last week. All my thanks to the wonderful staff at Vets4Pets. Miss him already.

This 1 star is purely for the receptionist Martina as I can't give 0. She was rude, dismissive, and clearly had no care or sensitivity to my request. Having gone in ahead to check if we can go straight in as I have a nervous cat she said yes, then I walk in and she looks at me confused and tells me to sit and wait where a number of dogs arrived, I then asked how long to which she glared and said your next, i did say we were told we could go straight in and just repeated rudely, had I walked in she said there's a delay there would have been no issue, When it was time to pay she turned in her chair clearly didn't want to serve me which was laughable. I will not be returning for this reason, receptionist are the face of the business so I'd rethink who you place these roles. The Vet was lovely and the above review is not in relation to the health check.
