Gilmoor Vets is a thriving veterinary practice located in the heart of Sunderland, England. Their goal is to provide the best possible care for your furry (or feathered!) friends, and they take pride in offering a comprehensive range of veterinary services to pet owners around the county of Tyne and Wear.
Opening their doors at nine every morning, the practice is open Monday through Friday. With flexible hours that close at six pm, they make it easy to schedule appointments around busy work or school schedules. While they are closed Saturday and Sunday, Gilmoor Vets has an emergency hotline available for after-hours care. This means that your beloved pet is always in good hands, twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week.
At Gilmoor Vets, they truly believe in a holistic approach to veterinary care. They understand that while each patient may present with similar symptoms, each individual animal should be given specialized attention and treatment. That’s why they offer consultations in a range of specialties, including birds, cats, dogs, exotic animals, wild animals, and small mammals.
Their seasoned veterinary surgeons are some of the best in the business, with years of experience and top-notch qualifications. The team is lead by Miss Deborah Stafford, a highly experienced Director. Miss Carmen Astola Pacheco, Mrs Adele Harrison, Miss Rebecca Hyland and Dr Anna Parsons also form part of the team of veterinary surgeons. They are always prepared to step in and provide your pet with the humane care it needs.
As for equipment, Gilmoor Vets boasts state-of-the-art facilities. These facilities are designed with patients’ comfort and safety in mind, guaranteeing the best possible experience for your pet. A caregiver friendly environment helps to reduce stress levels, which are a major concern in a veterinary practice. In addition, while the practice is wheelchair-friendly, it is regrettably with no public disabled access.
At Gilmoor Vets, clients are the priority. They strive to establish and foster relationships with their clients and their pets and to offer not only top-notch treatment and care but also guidance and education regarding animal health. They understand that each pet is unique, with specific requirements, and they embrace this uniqueness with enthusiasm.
The practice intends to continue offering excellent services and a friendly atmosphere where their patients feel comfortable and safe, and they aim to gain your trust as the go-to veterinary practice in Sunderland. Regardless of how big or small a pet’s medical history may be, the team at Gilmoor Vets is dedicated to providing the best care possible.
