When our initial vets and pdsa refused to help us during a family emergency, Sheriffs Highway Vets went above and beyond to help us in our time of need. Thanks to their team we were able to get our boy the help he needed, when he needed it most, and we could not be more grateful. I would absolutely recommend Sheriffs Highway Vets to anyone, the team are friendly, Helpful, and have a genuine love for what they do, which clearly shines through.

Very friendly and welcoming. The staff are always pleased to see your pet. The vets are very good. We have joined the pet club. And received texts to remind us of flea treatment etc. Also appointments.

I used to love this veterinary until my last visit. I realized that they have raised their consultation fee, and that’s ok, but the problem is they always give me the same advice, like “does your cat have fleas or worms?”. They gave me this bottle for flea and worm treatment which causes so much, yet they just asked me to apply it at home, and it does not even come with full instructions. I honestly think if they plan to charge this much in the future, they should either apply the medicine for pets while the clients are still at the veterinary clinic or reduce the price of consultation and their medicine.

After many years with my Bonnie going from one to another not so good vets, it's refreshing to finally find one that not only cares but listens, which imho is just as important, so utterly glad to have found them, I drive for miles to get there too, well worth it.

Exceptionally clean without smelling of disinfectant which was nice. Lovely reception staff. Mr Bojangles does not "do" people but he was putty in our vets hands very impressive. Great advice upfront about prices. Overall stress free appointment. Would recommend.

Up until recently I would have recommended this vet to anyone, I’ve been going here for years. My cat became ill and after spending £2k on tests I was told his treatment would cost £6k - £10k. £6k being just for the pills alone and the additional £4k for blood tests and ultrasounds required throughout treatment. He’s uninsured and this quote nearly led me to euthanise my cat as it would have crippled us financially. Luckily I had the foresight to do my own research. Turns out the medication only costs £400 a bottle at another vet and I’ve been able to fully treat my cat for under £1k. Ive also been advised by my new vet that the long list of tests sheriffs highway recommended during treatment would be completely unnecessary. I’ve submitted a complaint and asked for justification on this huge price disparity, so far this has gone unanswered. I don’t normally post public negative reviews but I feel like people need to hear my experience. If you go here and you always just pay the bill and trust their advice. I urge you to do your own research and ask for quotes at other practices. The results may shock you!

I love the vets here! I feel like they take great care of my cats when they visit. Recently my cat went in for top up vaccines and a quick health check. They found a rotting tooth and at just 2 years old, they suggested we run tests before taking out the tooth to confirm if there’s any genetic issues that would mean more teeth would have to come out. I’m grateful they told me about the tests as I would have been none the wiser, all tests came back fine and one unlucky tooth out. If the tests had came back positive most of his teeth would have to be removed early on in his life, so they would have suggested one big removal to save on costs and stress of the cat.
