Sheriffs Highway Vets - Tyne

Recently had my cat lilly spay ,she was well looked after and very prompt sevice from crawcrook tyne veterinary..many thanks to all the staff 😀

As always friendly reception staff & vet/nurses. My dog is always nervous going to the vets but the staff put him at ease by fussing over him which he loves and definitely helps. . ☺

Always brilliant service from these. Super friendly, our dog actually loves going here.

We have brought our cat Jasmine to this practice for the last few years and used to attend Sherriff highway with previous pets for years. Joanna the vet is very caring and lovely with Jasmine. Joanna really understands the breed and is very loving towards Jas. The vet nurses are very knowledgable and always a warm welcome from reception. A small, but personal practice.

Excellent practice, my dog was very poorly when I rang. I was given an appointment for an hour later. The vet was lovely with her as was the nurse. They took bloods and rushed through the analysis. The vet herself rang me later to give me results and explain in detail the treatment that would be needed. Costs were given before we agreed to treatment, so no surprises. Worth every penny. Cannot rate them highly enough.

Vet totally made Tig feel at ease before starting treatment. Previous visit they examined him on the floor to keep him calm. Professional and thorough throughout so would definitely recommend

Tim and every member of staff at Tyne Vets are without doubt the most caring and compassionate people ever. The care they gave to our beloved Polo for 14years and who we so sadly lost last week was second to none and we can't thank them enough for the way they so wonderfully dealt with our goodbye to Polo. Our other dog Wyspa, for all would rather not visit the vets, I know will be looked after just as well. A big thank you to you all!!

I have used this clinic as it was part of a free neutering scheme for our 2 rescue cats. Awful experience with a vet who had appalling communication skills, couldn't spell the disease she thought our cat might have and advised euthanasia or expensive blood tests our cat essentially didn't require. Relied on Google to highlight the issues she thought were relevant and also tried to charge for costs covered by the neutering scheme. Do not recommend.

Since tim left this place has become unbelievable! I was told today by the vet that my dog needs around £8000 or more in treatment i told them there's no way I can afford that our insurance maximum is £2000. The vets response to this was they may have to raise wellfair concerns about our poor dog Bobby! So basically threatening to report me for mistreating my dog because I can't afford 8k on vet bills that totally come out of the blue. Shocking place. Just one other thing the women vet never spoke to Bobby once! No comfort towards him or anything, she was really cold and not caring in the slightest.
