My dog Tyler actually likes going to the vets. They always make him feel relaxed and at ease. It's a pleasure to be able to walk him in, get his weight checked and get his annual booster injections. He never makes a fuss. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

We have used Westway Vets for the last 17 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The Wickham branch team have been so supportive with our current and previous dogs. They are honest, professional and always warm and welcoming. We will only see Amy the vet if at all possible - she has completed all necessary investigations and treatments as well as operations. We trust her implicitly. Katherine the vet nurse is excellent, so knowledgeable and understanding - she has supported the dogs to lose weight and be far fitter. Liz and Mel the receptionists are so accommodating and will do anything and everything they can to squeeze you in for appointments or get the repeat scripts sorted. We are very satisfied customers and always recommend Westways. Thanks all!

Westway vets at Whickham have never let us down. You can usually get an appointment for unexpected problems straight away and they usually message you when your pet requires annual vacs or periodic treatments so you can’t let your pet down! It’s always clean and the medical staff don’t put you under any pressure to proceed with a treatment , giving you all the options for you to make a well considered decision. I wouldn’t go anywhere else other than the Westway group for my dogs treatments. It’s not just the medical staff, the ladies who work in that branch are always happy to see you and they are a great help when making claims for insurance taking the hassle out of doing it yourself. Overall a brilliant branch.

We always use Westway vets in Whickham with our border terrier dogs. All of the staff, reception, the nurses and vets are excellent. They are all friendly and professional. We have dealt with Amy the vet, for many years now. We always have excellent advice and help, and we trust Amy with all aspects of our dogs health. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’ve used my local Westway vets for more than fifteen years and have always found the staff to be very friendly, professional and accommodating with appointments etc. My Boxer, Bella recently had to undergo an operation and they went above and beyond my expectations, caring for her as if she was their own. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Westway Vets are fantastic!! I usually see the same vet at our local branch and she knows Shangool so well. Even if we have to go to West Road hospital for urgent appointment, all the vets are so friendly, gentle and kind. Would thoroughly recommend them.
