Beautiful.Love the little bunnies skipping about. Didn't get the chance to visit the lake. Didn't get a 5 because it could do with more directional signs.

🌳♿️ I visited the University Park Campus of the University of Nottingham, and it’s honestly one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever seen. The place is full of greenery, peaceful, and perfect for a slow walk or just sitting down to enjoy nature. Right in the middle of the campus, there’s a large lake called Highfields Lake, surrounded by gardens and trees. You’ll often see ducks, swans, and other birds swimming peacefully or walking around the lakeside. The sound of water and birds makes the whole atmosphere calm and refreshing — it really feels like a public park inside the university. For wheelchair users, the campus is very accessible. The pathways around the campus and the lake are smooth and step-free, making it easy to move around without any obstacles. There are also ramps connecting the different levels of the park and university buildings. Along the lake, there are plenty of benches, so you can stop to rest, read a book, or just enjoy the view of the water. Some nearby cafés and university buildings are also easy to access from the main pathways. What I love most about this campus is how it feels peaceful yet lively — you’ll see students, families, and even locals walking, feeding the ducks, or just enjoying the open space. It’s such a welcoming and inclusive environment. ♿ Accessibility Checklist – University Park Campus ✅ Smooth and step-free pathways ✅ Ramps connecting garden and building areas ✅ Wheelchair access around the lake ✅ Benches available along the walking paths ✅ Accessible toilets in nearby university buildings ✅ Friendly and helpful staff or visitors ✅ Open, spacious environment with no major barriers 💬 Note: University Park Campus is not just a place for studying — it’s a beautiful green space to relax, enjoy the lake, and connect with nature. It’s calm, inclusive, and very wheelchair-friendly, making it one of Nottingham’s most peaceful spots. #WheelchairAccessible #AccessibleNottingham #InclusiveCampus #AccessibleByWalkandSee

Extremely beautiful a campus, providing a blanket of nature over the Victorian architecture. The whole campus is really big, so if you're new here - carrying a map is recommended as you can easily loose your way. Do enjoy the parks with geese and deers and lakes with ducks and birds around. It's an experience, being here 🤍
